SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support to clients throughout Mesa County.

Home care offers a unique opportunity to spend meaningful time with the people you serve. Rather than caring for multiple residents in a facility setting, you'll provide individualized care in clients' homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

Whether you're a seasoned CNA or newly certified, we'd love to talk to you!

Schedule & Availability

Applicants must have availability for:

• Weekend morning and evening shifts


• Some weekday morning and evening shifts

Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process and matched to client care needs whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation


• Observe for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly


• Provide companionship and encourage social engagement


• Assist with light housekeeping and household support tasks


• Follow individualized care plans and established care instructions


• Complete accurate and timely care for documentation

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification


• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance


• Compassionate, dependable, professional


• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills


• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the care team

Experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, hospice, or other health settings is not required.
