Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - The Office of Dr. Bozeman

The Office of Dr. Bozeman, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their practice. The employee be responsible for CNA responsibilities. * Phlebotomy a plus. 

This is a Full-Time opportunity, Monday - Thursday 7:00 am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares patients for examinations and
  procedures according to physician preferences.


• Uses good skills in recording vital signs of patients, including pulse, blood pressure,
  height, weight, etc.


• Uses good clinical skills in clean patient problem list and reconciling medications
  and allergies in patient chart.


• Opens note on behalf of provider, enters orders in Athena on behalf of the
  provider.


• Pulls and prepares patient records for physicians to treat patients, as needed.


• Maintains stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common work areas on a daily
  basis.


• Only with additional proper training can perform EKG’s.


• Adheres to established company policies and procedures (including the corporate
  compliance program), and follows state and federal regulations, such as OSHA and
  HIPAA guidelines.


• Adheres to site-specific protocols and expectations.


• Performs duties in a professional manner while exhibiting a courteous and
  cooperative manner to co-workers, management, and public.


• Maintains strictest confidentiality, both internally (with Summit employees) and
  externally (with non-Summit persons).


• Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will
  contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the
  implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the
  quality of care provided to patients.


• Performs other duties assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, prefer additional vocational or college
credits. 
Experience:
At least six months experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
Certification/License:
Current Certified Nurse Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
