Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

Verrazano Nursing and Post-Acute Center is actively seeking experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Duties Include:

• Evaluate Residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Help Residents improve their mobility
• Relieve Residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Teach Residents how to use physical therapy equipment
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
• Comply with Federal/State & Corporate policies and professional requirements
• Contribute to team effort

Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program
• Current New York State PTA License
• Nursing Home Experience preferred
