Cheesemonger

Description

A Cheesemonger prepares, packages, receives and stocks product. A Cheesemonger has passion for cheese and the ability to share that passion with Neroli’s guests. 

· Assists guests with cheese selection and shares knowledge of products

· Weighs, labels and packages products and completes food preparation in a timely manner

· Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu, and promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low

· Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards 

· Cleans work station thoroughly

· Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

· Excellent communication skills

· Basic math skills

· Basic knife skills

· Knowledge of cheese and/or Italian cuisine preferred

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

Requirements

· Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
