Position: Prep Team Member

About the Role:

• As a our Prep Team Member, you will play an important role in preparing fresh ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure every meal meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality, safety, and speed. This role focuses on food preparation, organization, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment so our team can serve guests efficiently and consistently. Prep Team Members help ensure that all ingredients and products are ready for service, contributing to a smooth and successful kitchen operation each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes and portioning standards.
• Keep prep areas clean and organized.
• Support the kitchen during peak hours.

Other Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and assemble food items while following quality, safety, and speed standards.
• Assist with beverage and dessert preparation.
• Ensure all products meet Chick-fil-A’s brand, culture, and excellence standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the, kitchen, storage areas, restrooms, and dining spaces.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Help with opening and closing tasks as assigned.
• Communicate clearly with team members and leaders.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Experience:

• Kitchen or prep experience a plus.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ consecutive hours)
• Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) for restocking and cleaning duties
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently
