Chief Financial Officer

A growing organization in the South Bend area is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer / Controller to lead financial operations and support long-term organizational growth. This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership team and oversee budgeting, reporting, compliance, financial planning, and overall fiscal management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance activities
• Provide financial analysis and strategic guidance to executive leadership
• Manage cash flow, vendor relationships, and financial operations
• Partner with leadership teams to improve processes and support organizational objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or financial leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance
• Experience overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and financial controls
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or related certification preferred
• Experience improving financial systems and operational efficiencies
• Prior leadership experience within a complex or multi-site organization preferred
