Job Description

Theisen's is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to serve as the operational leader who connects strategy to execution across the organization.

Initially, this role will directly lead Marketing and Merchandising while partnering closely with leaders across Operations, Finance, Distribution, IT, and People. As the organization's EOS Integrator, the CRO will help coordinate priorities, align teams, and ensure the company's most important initiatives move from idea to execution with clarity and accountability.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on creating order from complexity. While many organizations have mature operating systems and long-established processes, Theisen's is actively building the next generation of how we work. The successful candidate will help strengthen and standardize key business processes, improve cross-functional coordination, and drive consistent execution across the company while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit that has fueled our growth.

The opportunity is not simply to manage existing functions. It is to help design and reinforce the operating framework that allows a growing retail organization to scale effectively, make better decisions, and execute with greater consistency across every location and team.

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across sales, marketing, and/or merchandising, ideally with direct P&L ownership.
• A demonstrated track record of building or substantially improving systems, processes, or data infrastructure inside a growing organization — not only operating within ones that were already mature.
• A track record of developing the leaders around you, not just directing their output.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the judgment to bring structure to it rather than waiting for someone else to define it.
• The ability to be genuinely present in day-to-day operations while still thinking and executing at a strategic level.
• Strong data fluency, including the willingness to help build better data capability rather than requiring it to already be in place.

Preferred:

• Experience operating within EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), particularly experience serving as an Integrator.
• Experience in a family-owned or founder-led business.
• Experience in retail, farm/home/auto, or adjacent multi-category retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue strategy and performance across all channels, in direct partnership with the CEO and executive team.
• Direct leadership of Marketing, and Merchandising — unifying planning, budgeting, and go-to-market execution under one coordinated growth strategy, with full P&L accountability.
• Partner with functional leaders to strengthen and standardize key business processes across the organization.
• Ensure established operating procedures, planning disciplines, and accountability systems are consistently followed.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of duplication, then lead efforts to simplify and improve how work gets done.
• Facilitate alignment between departments to reduce silos and create shared ownership of company priorities.
• Lead the EOS operating rhythm, ensuring Rocks, scorecards, meetings, and priorities translate into measurable results.
• Build a culture of disciplined execution where expectations are clear, commitments are honored, and progress is visible.
• Create greater consistency in how teams plan, communicate, execute, and measure success. This aligns well with themes you've used in your Head of Enterprise Operations concepts around documented processes, accountability, EOS discipline, and cross-functional alignment.

• Proficient in merchandising, marketing and store planning software, power point, excel, word, 

teams, and outlook.

Physical Demands

Frequent physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, dexterity, and light grasping. Occasional 

physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing 

stairs and firmly grasping. The employee is required to accept incoming calls and must be able to hear 

and speak. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to 

perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual 

dexterity to manually operate and use a computer and other basic office equipment.

Work Environment and Working Conditions

This position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility. The noise level is low to 

medium and typical of an office environment. Potential hazards include electrical hazards. Atmospheric 

conditions are typical of an office environment and may include exposure to odors and dust.

This position manages detailed, complex concepts and balances multiple tasks simultaneously, and may 

need to make rapid decisions regarding various issues. This full-time position operates in a professional 

office environment 60% of the time and will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, 

phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the 

associate is regularly required to see, talk, and hear. This is normally a sedentary role; however, 

occasional physical work that may require the ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and stoop, as necessary. 

This position requires a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of executive management, hours 

may be long and irregular, including weekend work, some travel, occasionally overnight including trade 

shows and vendor events. Travel to company and competitor’s locations independently or with others 

will be frequent
