Civil and Public Works Inspector

We are seeking F/T Public Works and infrastructure inspectors to join our growing team! You will be responsible for performing inspections and/or testing to support engineering design and construction projects working along with municipalities, engineers, inspection and drilling departments. We are currently seeking inspectors familiar with utility inspection, Water Wastewater inspections, and other DPW-related inspections. Certifications held by the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA), and the Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP), NASSCO, and/or other relevant certifying agencies and familiarity with software including CM-14 for City of Baltimore utility is a plus.

Projects can be in various Maryland Counties and City,  Assignments can be assigned based on preferred locations if at all possible. Typical clients include DC Water, WSSC, and City and County DPW's.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document construction activities
• Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
• Properly record results
• Monitor inventory samples and supplies
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Work under the supervision of project manager

Qualifications:

• Certifications preferred in Concrete (ACI), Soils & Aggregate Compaction (MARTCP), HMA (MARTCP), WACEL, and/or NICET disciplines
• Experience with Public Works Improvements
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with computers
