Civil Engineer (4 - 7 yrs)

The Phoenix office is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer with four to seven plus years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Expected Base Salary: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 based on knowledge and experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
• 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
  • Registration in Arizona preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the design of commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, municipal, alternative energy, health care, higher education, and Federal projects, including design of:
  • Grading and drainage
  • Underground utilities
  • Site layouts
  • ADA design
  • Stormwater management
  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
• Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of public improvement and grading plans, and earthwork calculations
• Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Specification preparation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to foster long term client relationships
• Arizona experience and relationships a plus
