America's Auto Auction West Michigan is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Car Hauler Driver to transport vehicles using a multi-car hauler. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being on the road, and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service, we want to hear from you.

Previous car hauling experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Candidates with Class A CDL experience, flatbed, heavy haul, equipment transport, towing/recovery, or other specialized commercial driving experience are encouraged to apply. A clean driving record, strong safety mindset, and willingness to learn are required.  

Position Summary for Class A CDL Car Hauler Driver

The Class A CDL Car Hauler Driver is responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of vehicles. Drivers will operate a commercial car hauler while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Responsibilities for Class A CDL Car Hauler Driver

• Safely load and unload vehicles onto a multi-vehicle car hauler.
• Inspect vehicles for existing damage and accurately document vehicle condition.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections.
• Transport vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, and customer locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Secure vehicles properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and auction personnel.
• Keep accurate records, logs, and transportation documentation.
• Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly.

Requirements for Class A CDL Car Hauler Driver

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Previous car hauling experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
