Class C Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class C refrigerated truck for daily local deliveries.
  

• Load, transport, and deliver temperature -sensitive goods (frozen items) to various local warehouses.
  

• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of frozen food goods.
  

• Perform daily pre -trip and post -trip inspections of the vehicle.
  

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures on delivery paperwork.
  

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
  

• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
  

• Monitor refrigeration unit settings and report temperature variances or mechanical issues immediately.
  

Requirements

• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
  

• Clean driving record (MVR will be reviewed).
  

• Previous experience driving small trucks preferred (refrigerated vehicle experience is a plus).
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks - handle manual and electric pallet jacks for loading and unloading when needed
  

• Good communication and customer service skills.
  

• Punctual, dependable, and self -motivated.
  

• Familiarity with GPS and routing software.

Preferred:

• Experience handling refrigerated or perishable goods.
  

• Knowledge of safe food handling and temperature control regulations.
  

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
