 Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid teaching certification (Texas certification preferred)
• Possess basic computer skills
• Additional qualifications may be required for specific positions
• Strong understanding of upper elementary development

Compensation: 

Based upon SMA payscale and commensurate with experience.

Start Date: August 2026

•  Teach full day (7:25 am to 4:00 pm)
• Serve as a role model for students
• Observe policies, procedures, and directives from school administration
• Integrate technology into curriculum delivery
• Implement effective classroom and behavior management skills
• Keep student management system up-to-date with grades and lesson plans (Blackbaud Education Management)
• Manage support materials (curriculum manipulatives and technology devices) used throughout the year
• Work collegially with others
• Incorporate best practices into classroom instructional strategies
• Come to class/work each day with materials and plans fully prepared for the day
• Employ school-wide adopted curriculum as directed by the school administration
• Embrace school-wide initiatives for student growth and spiritual development
• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction
• Foster students’ development of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
