Classroom Teacher Pool - Secondary (Grades 7 -12)

• Teach one or more of the following subject areas: English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, or Bible in a secondary classroom setting.
  
• Develop and implement engaging, subject -specific lesson plans aligned with our school's curriculum.
  
• Foster critical thinking, academic excellence, and spiritual growth in students.
  
• Integrate biblical principles into instruction and classroom discussions.
  
• Assess student progress through a variety of instructional methods and provide meaningful feedback.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
  

• Stay connected with Lake Center Christian School and be among the first considered for future openings.

Requirements

• A clear testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian education and agreement with our school's Statement of Faith and community lifestyle statements.
  
• Commitment to upholding the Christian mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
  
• Clear FBI/BCI background check.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with an emphasis in one or more of the listed subject areas.
  
• Valid state teaching license (or ability to obtain one).
  
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary classroom.
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
