Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking dependable, energetic, detail-oriented, and Cleaning Assistants to support cleaning operations within a high-security data center environment. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized data halls, construction areas, corridors, offices, and common spaces.
The ideal candidate will have janitorial, custodial, commercial, or construction cleaning experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment around sensitive equipment and other contractors. Strong communication skills are important, and the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and detail data halls, floors, corridors, work areas, and common spaces
• Perform floor care using auto scrubbers, floor machines, vacuums, and other approved equipment
• Remove construction dust, dirt, debris, stickers, and protective materials as directed
• Perform overhead cleaning and dusting using ladders or aerial lifts when trained and authorized
• Clean walls, doors, windows, ledges, equipment exteriors, and other approved surfaces
• Perform carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, and general janitorial duties
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all contamination-control procedures
• Inspect cleaning equipment and report supply, maintenance, or repair needs
• Complete required cleaning reports, inspections, and equipment logs
• Follow all company and jobsite PPE, safety, access-control, and security requirements
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or work outside the approved scope
• Assist with other cleaning and facility-support tasks as assigned

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided 
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, kneel, climb ladders, perform repetitive tasks, and safely lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial, industrial, or construction cleaning experience preferred
• Experience operating floor-care equipment is a plus
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional communication
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, orientations, or site-badging requirements
   

Preferred:

• 1 year of similar work experience in janitorial or construction environments
• Customer service experience
