Cleaning/Janitorial Technician

Position Overview:
The full time Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at an assigned location. This stable and specialized role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that the assigned facility remains clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

  Perform routine cleaning tasks at the assigned location, including but not limited to:

    Gather, empty trash, and replace liners in trash bins.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Clean floors and baseboards by sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Dust vents, office furniture, equipment, sills, wall-mounted objects, etc., as per schedule.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Keep areas stocked with supplies such as paper products, soaps, etc.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Clean and sanitize areas such as restrooms, exam rooms, offices, break rooms, etc.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Clean high touch points such as glass, chrome fixtures, phones, etc.

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Request supplies as needed to ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitor storage areas.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure buildings are secure by locking doors and turning on/off alarm systems.

  Notify the manager when a building requires minor repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to specific cleaning requirements as detailed for each location.

  Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the site manager.

  Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards.

  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

  High school diploma or equivalent.

  Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

  Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

  Strong time management skills.

Work Environment:

Physical Demands:

Reporting Structure:

• Evening shift


• Monday to Friday


• Night shift


• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Flint/Grand GB, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
