Cleaning Technician

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cleaning Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to various client locations to deliver high-quality cleaning solutions, including carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, and other cleaning services as needed. Salary Pay: $1,100 per week

Job Type: Full-Time (about 40 hours per week)

Schedule: Flexible schedule Required – We are task driven rather than time driven (Nights, weekends, etc.) 

Work Location: In Person – Various Client Locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpet cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment and company methods.
• Strip, wax, buff, and maintain various floor surfaces.
• Complete specialty cleaning projects or janitorial cleaning as assigned.
• Operate and maintain floor machines, carpet extractors, and other specialty equipment.
• Assist with cleaning projects.
• Remove debris, trash, and other materials from project sites.
• Load, transport, and unload cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
• Maintain inventory and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project status.
• Travel to various customer locations as needed.
• Perform or assist with other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Previous experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, or specialty cleaning services preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, work locations, and project requirements.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying hours as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism are required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to move and operate heavy floor care and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including theaters, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, and commercial properties.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
