Clean-Up Worker I

Summary:

Preparation of products partially or completely for shipping, working on shop floor by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.


• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.


• Must be able to use hand tools.


• Must be able to Prep/Clean/Close Equipment with minimal instructions or Supervision


• Must be able to use all the basic packaging tools or equipment


• Must be able to work well with others


• Availabilty to work overtime when required or needed

• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and understand English instructions.

• Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to walk and climb or balance. Ladders and portable stairs will be used on a regular basis.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Use of pnuematic tools (i.e. Nail guns, Staple guns). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Hourly Rate: $17 - $19.50/hour
