Headquartered in both Kansas City and Topeka, Evergy employs about 4,900 people who are dedicated to empowering a better future.  We are recruiting candidates for a Clerk at our La Cygne Generating Station. Please find below a list of the minimum requirements for the position. It is important the candidates address their qualifications in the documentation submitted for consideration.  

Job Duties\: Performs various administrative activities.  Originates correspondence as directed.  Utilizes computer systems to accomplish job tasks as necessary.  Performs mathematical computations, including averaging data from charts and logs.  Maintains a variety of records and files.  Performs timekeeping duties as necessary.  Performs other similar, related, and less-skilled work as assigned. Utilizes and maintains any equipment necessary to perform job.
 

Experience\: Familiarity with mechanical work and Microsoft Office preferred.

General\: Ability to keyboard at 35 wpm production and 30 wpm revised copy.
