Job Description - Clinic Nurse (RN/LPN) Independence Family Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinic Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our healthcare team at Independence Family Medicine. As a Clinic Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a clinical setting. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history

- Assist physicians with medical procedures and examinations

- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and sterilized

- Adhere to all healthcare laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements:

- Active nursing license in the state of KS

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer skills

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Good knowledge of general practical nursing theory and practice. Good communication skills and techniques verbally, as well as in writing. In-depth knowledge of daily operations of provider's practices. Possesses computer and office equipment skills.
