Clinic Office Assistant; Clinic CMA or RMA (Cardiology; IL Region)

Job Overview

Working alongside cardiologists and a collaborative care team, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiac needs. From assisting with procedures and coordinating care to educating patients on heart-healthy lifestyles and treatment plans, you'll help support patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. 

The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician and based on their scope of training, to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Services include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities, and patient/family education. Care is provided utilizing established principles and ethical standards, as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.

What You Will Need

  Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

  Experience preferred but not required.

Current certification/license from one of the below:

CPR provider certification required.

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday

Hours: 40 per week

Pay Ranges:
CMA/RMA: $19.14-$26.79
