Patient Access Specialist

Crook County Medical Services District is currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Specialist position for the Sundance Clinic. This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments to maintain a steady flow for health care providers.

Essential Functions:
▪Must be able to work well with the public
▪Registering patients- ER/Outpatients and Clinics
▪Answering phones in a timely and professional manner
▪Keeping medical records up to date
▪Logging of daily payments
▪Filling out outpatient sheets when necessary
▪Collection of cash payments as needed
▪Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:
▪Minimum age of 16 years old
▪High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:
▪Previous receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
▪Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times.
▪Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule:
This will be a part-time position, and the schedule will vary based on clinic needs.
