Job Overview

As a Phone Nurse in our Internal Medicine clinic, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and the care team by serving as a trusted resource for triage, patient questions, and care coordination.

In this fast-paced role, you'll manage patient requests received through phone calls and MyChart messages, provide clinical triage, coordinate care, and help patients navigate their healthcare needs. You will ensure patients receive timely responses, guidance, and follow-up care. You'll also assist with nurse-only visits and other patient care needs, helping the clinic operate efficiently while maintaining an exceptional patient experience.

The Phone Nurse is an essential part of the clinic team, providing direct and indirect patient care while collaborating closely with providers, clinical staff, and patients. Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and a passion for helping others are key to success in this role
