Salary Range: $ 68,000 - $92,000 Annual

Job Summary: The Clinic Charge/Triage Nurse is under the direction of the Clinic supervisor,

responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and support for clinic nursing staff. The Clinic

Charge/Triage Nurse collaborates with staff to plan, develop, support, and implement changes to

existing operational and healthcare processes to meet current and future clinic service needs. Delegates

assignments and provide supervision to the support staff in accordance with their scope of practice,

patient acuity levels and collaborates with medical providers to ensure the high quality of patient care.

Support established medical practice standards and proficiency, nursing excellence, and frontline

patient services including telephone and in-person triage. Decision making and critical thinking, to

supervising daily functions, and work toward continuous improvement in a team environment is crucial

element of this position. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse – Unencumbered – by endorsement or NCLEX examination.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire.


• Graduate of an accredited nursing school


• At least 5 or more years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.


• Experience with Epic EHR System, or ability to navigate Electronic Health Records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP), Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC)


• At least 5 or more years’ experience with Triage assessments.


• At least 1 or more years’ supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
