Job Description:

Job Title: Clinical Care Manager (LPC, LCSW, PLPC, LMSW)

Location: Kirksville, MO
Department: Behavioral Crisis Center – Rapid Access Unit
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (with on-call responsibilities)

Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate behavioral health professional ready to lead a team making a real impact? Join our team as a Clinical Care Manager in our Behavioral Crisis Center – Rapid Access Unit. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a multidisciplinary team providing immediate, high-quality care to individuals in crisis—helping them find stability and hope when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front-line behavioral health staff and provide after-hours on-call support

  • Manage client care concerns and delegate interventions appropriately

  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new staff

  • Conduct regular staff meetings, supervision sessions, and performance evaluations

  • Serve as liaison between leadership and clinical staff

  • Monitor and improve workflow processes in collaboration with leadership

  • Review and audit clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness

  • Submit monthly data reports to the Department of Mental Health and other entities

  • Order supplies and manage equipment needs for the Rapid Access Unit

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans in coordination with HR and leadership

  • Support community outreach and referral pathway development

  • Manage staff schedules, timecards, and workday requests

  • Coordinate facility maintenance, safety inspections, and emergency drills

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in a human services field

  • Licensure: Active or provisionally licensed LCSW, LPC, PLPC, LMSW, or PsyD

  • Experience: Minimum 1-year post-licensure preferred; experience in medical or psychiatric settings a plus

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation standards

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively

  • Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding protected health information

  • Ability to interpret clinical data and documentation

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
