Job Description - Clinical Customer Representative

Job Description

Duration: 6 Months+ (Contract To Hire)


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Clinical position that will contact patients via telephone. Involves contact with patients to obtain information on current status, medications and dietary restrictions. Duties also include updating patient records and maintaining spreadsheets. Clinical assistant will report patient statuses to supervising RN. Clinical Assistant reports directly to the PASS Administrative Supervisor.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data entry of patient information in dedicated software
• Reporting patient enrollment status to supervising Nurse Specialist
• Updating patient records
• Maintaining spreadsheets
• Sending out program overview mailers to new enrollees
• Faxing as directed
• Other projects as required and assigned by the PASS Administrative Supervisor

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one-year customer service or HUC related experience

Qualifications

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
• Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent written and oral communication and documentation skills. 
• Proficient computer skills, and specific experience with Microsoft Excel as well as Microsoft Word, Access & Outlook. 
• Basic typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute). Appropriate and professional grammar and correct spelling is expected and essential.
