About the Role:
A healthcare organization in Monsey, NY is hiring a Clinical Director to own patient service quality, regulatory compliance, and clinical leadership across its care operations. The role sits at the center of daily operations, working across care teams, training programs, and quality initiatives to keep every patient-facing process running to standard. It's a hands-on leadership position with direct accountability for staff development, incident resolution, and audit readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Compliance

• Oversee patient service operations, ensuring timely, high-quality care and strong patient satisfaction and retention


• Monitor compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, agency policies, and clinical standards


• Participate in regulatory surveys, audits, investigations, and corrective action plans


• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and audit-ready across all patient services

Leadership & Staff Development

• Lead, supervise, and develop the clinical team, setting clear performance standards and accountability measures


• Conduct regular supervision, coaching, performance reviews, and staff development


• Identify and develop high-potential employees to build a strong leadership bench


• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and patient-centered service

Quality Improvement & Incident Management

• Lead the organization's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program, including regular meetings, performance data review, and corrective action plans


• Oversee timely review, investigation, and resolution of patient incidents and complaints


• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient-related regulatory complaints and required reports


• Present CQI findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Training, Operations & Interdepartmental Coordination

• Oversee training and certification programs for care staff, ensuring competency evaluations and required documentation stay current


• Develop and monitor departmental goals, KPIs, and operational workflows


• Partner with Coordination, Intake, HR, Payroll, Compliance, IT, and other departments to resolve issues affecting patient care


• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies during surveys, audits, and reviews

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license


• Healthcare leadership experience
