Job Description - Clinical Nutrition Manager






Role Overview






Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to support Humboldt Park Health, a Safety Net community and teaching hospital in Chicago, IL. This role offers a strong mix of leadership and clinical practice, with a primary focus on leading clinical nutrition services, supporting program development, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
 

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

What You'll Do






  • Provide 80% clinical leadership and 20% hands-on patient care, balancing team oversight with direct clinical support
  • Oversee daily clinical nutrition operations, providing guidance and support to the dietitian team
  • Manage and advance the hospital’s malnutrition identification and documentation program
  • Oversee HealthTouch programming and patient nutrition education initiatives
  • Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards

What You Bring






  • Registered Dietitian credential required
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care clinical experience
  • Leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Experience with clinical nutrition programs (e.g., malnutrition identification, patient education)
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in a hospital setting

Qualifications & Requirements






Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
