Clinical Pharmacist

Qualifications:

• Current CT Pharmacist license required.
• PharmD required
• Board certification in pharmacy is preferred.
• Completion of an ASHP approved pharmacy residency program or Minimum 3 to 5 years pharmacy experience required.
• Two years of hospital pharmacist experience preferred.

Description:

The Clinical Pharmacist ensures optimal drug therapy for patients in their clinical specialty area and provides educational activities to the pharmacy staff and other caregivers to insure that patients receive safe and cost effective drug therapy. Reports to\: Pharmacy Manager.
