Position Overview


As the RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring quality care delivery, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting both patients and field staff in a home health setting.


This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on nursing expertise with leadership responsibilities in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:


· Clinical Leadership & Compliance


o Assist in overseeing clinical operations to ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and quality standards


o Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives across all care services


· Staff Supervision & Development


o Supervise, mentor, and support field nursing staff in the home health care setting


o Conduct staff orientation and assist with ongoing education and training


o Participate in interviewing and evaluating Registered Nurse applicants


o Involvement in clinical program development


· Patient Care & Assessments


o Provide and oversee patient-centered care based on individualized Plans of Care


Perform and supervise skilled nursing services, including:


o IV insertion and infusion therapy


o Injections


o Wound care


o Blood glucose monitoring


o Medication management


o Vital signs assessments


Client & Family Support


o Communicate with clients and their families to address concerns to ensure high-quality care


o Assist the Director of Nursing with client assessments and reassessments as needed


Required Qualifications:


· Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license


· IV Certification


· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a National League of Nursing accredited program


· BLS or ACLS Certification


· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


· Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory compliance


· Commitment to HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality


Preferred Qualifications:


· Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical nursing experience


· At least one (1) year of experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or healthcare facility


· Previous home health care experience


· Nursing instructor experience


· Superior IV insertion and infusion skills
