A growing medical technology company is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support procedural adoption and utilization across Florida. This role works closely with the Clinical Sales Representative to provide case coverage, educate clinicians, and help users build confidence with new technology.
The primary focus is hands-on support during cases, with additional responsibility for identifying and engaging prospective users within existing and target accounts. This opportunity is well suited for someone with strong clinical aptitude, experience in procedural environments, and an interest in developing a career in medical device sales.
Case Coverage & Clinical Support
Provide on-site case coverage and serve as a resource for physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Support pre-case preparation, equipment readiness, and appropriate use of technology during procedures.
Educate users on setup, operation, and workflow integration in accordance with training and approved guidance.
Help troubleshoot questions and coordinate additional technical or clinical support as needed.
Build relationships with clinical teams to support repeat use and consistent adoption.
User Development & Account Support
Partner with the Clinical Sales Representative to coordinate case coverage, training, and account follow-up.
Identify prospective physician users and clinical champions within existing and target accounts.
Conduct outreach to introduce the technology, understand clinician needs, and coordinate evaluations or training.
Help expand utilization by engaging additional users and supporting their initial cases.
Communicate account activity, user feedback, and growth opportunities to the commercial team.
Maintain accurate records of case coverage, training, and customer interactions.
Experience in medical devices, clinical support, operating room environments, or another procedural healthcare setting.
Comfort working alongside physicians and clinical staff during procedures.
Ability to learn technical information and explain it clearly to a range of users.
Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and following through.
Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with a field sales team.
Willingness to travel throughout Florida, including overnight travel as needed, and adapt to procedural schedules.
Ability to meet hospital credentialing and customer access requirements.
Prior case coverage or clinical education experience.
Exposure to surgical specialties, orthopedics, trauma, or other procedure-focused medical device roles.
Experience supporting technology adoption or introducing new users to medical devices.
Interest in building both clinical and commercial capabilities.

They also bring the initiative to seek out prospective users and support territory growth alongside the Clinical Sales Representative.
