OVERVIEW:
By connecting evidence-based support with stakeholders, you will enhance health outcomes and ensure our evidence is sound and unbiased. Your role is vital in linking evidence-based medical decision support with colleagues and stakeholders to empower healthcare decisions regarding the safe and appropriate use of medicines for patients. Whether you are developing frameworks to ensure our evidence is scientifically robust, providing unbiased and medically necessary expertise, or investigating ways to close data gaps, your contributions will be crucial.
ROLE SUMMARY:
In this role, you will:
Define strategic direction and hold accountability for business performance and financial management within an Enterprise or Division
Develop and implement resourcing strategies for people, technology, and finance, addressing resource implications across other business segments
Foster a culture of inclusion, knowledge sharing, and colleague development, leveraging organizational capabilities
Promote continuous improvement and innovation, determining acceptable risk levels and creating solutions for complex problems
Lead the creation and implementation of Enterprise or Division strategies and business plans, participating in the development of overall Enterprise strategy
Identify and develop talent to build leadership bench strength, ensure succession plans, and hold leaders accountable for management skills and diversity
Act as a strategic advisor on key Enterprise initiatives, influencing senior leadership and negotiating to accomplish broad business objectives
Ensure clinical studies within the Pfizer Biopharma Group are conducted within time, budget, and scope, managing project governance and communications
Deliver excellence in clinical study team leadership, ensuring trials progress according to agreed plans and establishing Key Performance Indicators
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and well-integrated end-to-end Study Start-up Project Management, providing leadership and development for Asset Project Managers
Leverage AI-enabled insights, predictive analytics, and scenario modeling to inform portfolio prioritization, study feasibility, timelines, and resource allocation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS with at least 12 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 10 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 7 years of experience or MD/DVM with at least 5 years of experience
Well-developed skills in planning, observation, analysis, and problem-solving
Experience in creating, tracking, and reporting metrics and key performance indicators
People management experience
Leading complex cross-functional teams
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and associates both within and outside the organization
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree
Three to five years experience in Inflammation & Immunology clinical operations preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and moderate conflicts effectively
Ability to influence senior leadership and act as a strategic advisor
Proven track record in fostering a culture of inclusion and knowledge sharing
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, includingrisk management and ethical use
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Work Location Assignment: This is a hybrid role requiring you to live within commuting distance and work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week.
