Clinical Supervisor (LCSW, LCPC)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide supervisory guidance to all assigned clinical staff and those working in your region
• Conduct Clinical Supervision with non-clinically licensed staff as needed
• Review all clinical documentation as its produced to include assessments, treatment plans, and incident reports
• Provide oversight of community-based services and programming
• Facilitate care and coordination of care for all high-risk clients and payor identified high-risk cases (FCC cases)
• Maintain small client caseload.
• Facilitate communication between therapy team and intake
• Conduct regular communication between supervisor and clinical director and regional manager
• Conduct regular communication between supervisor and all office managers
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings
• Identify hiring needs and communicate this to Clinical Director and Director of Operations for approval.
• Completes payor Clinical Review calls with payor review staff to identify clients with increased needs.
• Conduct interviews as needed
• Provide clinical training to all new staff and then ongoing training to all existing clinicians 
• Provide ongoing, continuation education for all agency direct care staff
• Provide ongoing support to clinical director and regional manager as needed
• Facilitate communication between mental health program and other interagency programs (IOP, ESMI, community-based services and med management)
• Approve schedule changes, vacation, time off requests, and overtime as needed for all clinical staff
• In the event of a staff departure, ensure clients are appropriately transferred and that all documentation is up to date and complete
• Interfaces routinely with staff, Program Coordinator, Mental Health Director, clinic staff, clients and other key personnel as identified essential to client care.
• Maintains confidentiality of all client documents, files and communication in written, electronic and/or verbal form. Must be responsible for reading, understanding, and communicating clearly Clarvida’s policies and procedures.
• Completes appropriate amount of continuing education annually from date of hire as required by licensure.  Specific requirements as related to ethics training and professional licensure apply.
• Demonstrates effective time management and organization skills within the office setting.
• Promotes good employee relations through recognition of staff achievement and excellence.
• Conducts quarterly and annual reviews with staff as necessary.
• Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic word processing tasks and utilize identified proprietary software for the completion of tasks or has the ability to learn these skills.

• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex regulations and corporate policies.  Capacity to perform written comprehensive assessments of a client’s assets, deficits and needs, effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients and the public.  Ability to engage written correspondence on a professional level and format.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations/Qualifications: Individual must have clinical licensure, and be certified by the state to provide clinical supervision.
