Expectations:

Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, safety testing and repair of a diverse range of clinical equipment, typically non-life support.
This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Associate degree or vocational training in electronics, biomedical equipment technology or a related field.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
One year experience as a biomedical equipment technician is a healthcare setting preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
Current Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification

SKILLS:
Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting.
- PM completion rate achieves 100% for life support equipment.
- Schedules PMs and informs the head of department in a timely fashion.
- Documents entire procedure including follow-up on "delinquent devices" on a monthly basis.
- Completes assignments monthly.
- Performs safety inspections per HMH CT’s PMP procedures.
- Based on the results of the test, makes the immediate necessary corrections.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $35.00 - $52.50.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
