Piedmont Pain Management is currently seeking a full-time CMA to join our team in Martinez, GA! Under the direction of a physician, prepares patients to be seen in clinic, assists in the procedure suite, and assists with clinical duties as directed.  Position is full-time, Monday - Thursday, with approximately half of the time assisting in clinic, and half of the time assisting in the procedure suite. 

Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
