Scope of Responsibility 


As a Certified Nurse Aide you will be under the direct supervision of licensed personnel. You will be responsible for providing patient care activities including: feeding, monitoring of vital signs, specimen collection, monitors and responds to patient needs and patient transportation. Other duties include acquiring necessary equipment for procedures and explain procedures to patients and families, Clean equipment, meal trays and restores rooms after patient discharge. Also provides appropriate assistance to patients with ADLs and mobility as directed by therapy staff and helps to maintain a clean and safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or LVN in charge.

  • Education




    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 



  • Training and Experience


    • 1 year current hospital or nursing home Nurse Aide experience or completion of Nurse Aide Course preferred

    • Current certification through the Texas Nurse Aide Registry

    • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
