Every day at KMM Group, our machinists manufacture components used in medical devices, aerospace systems, defense technologies, space exploration programs, and other mission-critical applications.
The work is challenging. The tolerances are tight. The expectations are high.
And that's exactly why many of our machinists choose to stay.
We're looking for an experienced CNC Mill Turn Machinist who can independently set up, troubleshoot, optimize, and run advanced multi-axis machining centers while helping us continuously improve manufacturing performance.
This is a role for a machinist who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership from setup through stable production.
Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mill-turn machines
Read blueprints, GD&T requirements, process sheets, and work instructions
Develop efficient machining strategies for complex parts
Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, offsets, and cycle times
Perform in-process inspections and first article inspections
Make NC program edits and process improvements
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
Support lights-out manufacturing initiatives
Maintain repeatable, stable production processes
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams
Setups run consistently and repeatably
Parts pass inspection the first time
Machines stay productive and efficient
Cycle times improve
Scrap and rework remain low
Process improvements are implemented
Opportunities for automation and lights-out production are identified
