CNC Milling Machinist | Precision Manufacturing | Roscoe, IL | $18–$35/Hour

You’ll take raw material and turn it into precision components and gears that must meet exact engineering specifications. Your setup decisions, machining, and inspection will directly determine whether each part meets the dimensional and quality requirements needed for demanding aerospace, defense, and medical applications.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines


• Machine precision components and gears to specification


• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models


• Adjust tooling and machine settings as needed


• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy


• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues


• Perform basic CNC equipment maintenance


• Follow AS9100 quality requirements

What You’ll Need

• Hands-on CNC milling experience


• Strong CNC mill setup and operation skills


• Experience machining tight-tolerance parts


• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings


• Knowledge of precision measurement and inspection

Preferred

• Aerospace manufacturing experience


• Gear manufacturing experience


• GD&T knowledge


• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards
