CNC Operator

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and safety procedures

Safely operate manufacturing equipment to fill orders

Pull and prep material

Utilize set up sheets, drawings, and notes to set up vertical milling centers

Set up tools for specific job requirements

Set up and run multiple machines at a time

Change cutting tools and adjust feeds and speeds per job requirements

Dial-in and edge-find part and set machine offsets

Manufacture parts to customer specifications

Quality inspect inventory produced

Maintain clean work environment

Qualifications:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Must be able to follow instructions and have a strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verifiable attendance history

Possess a proactive, positive attitude and be self-motivated

Must be a team player

Must be able to multi-task

Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity

Must be able to stand/walk up to 75% of shift

Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs

Familiarity with inspection equipment a plus

Ability to perform minor edits to machine programs a plus

Familiarity with G & M codes a plus
