  Typically 7 -24 hr shifts per month, some days may be Fri, Sat or Sun but the weekends may be covered by locums or full-time family practice providers so not consistent on weekends. Will always be off post call. There will also be opportunities to see patients in the Women's Clinic but that is not the primary purpose of the midwifes. There is a designated call room.
