Espresso Service Technician / Field Service Technician (Coffee & Espresso)

Pay Range: $20-29/hr  + Potential Bonus (Dependent on Market)

Schedule:

• Typical Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Varies by Market)
• Rotational On-Call: Every 3-4 weeks
• Overnight Travel: May be required based on market conditions

Location: Within 40 miles of market area.

Technician Duties:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate strong mechanical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and read diagrams and schematics.
• Equipment Repair: Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial espresso equipment, including coffee brewers, coffee grinders, and other specialty coffee equipment.
• Technical Communication: Communicate with manufacturers as needed for assistance with diagnoses and parts identification. Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for on-site technical support.
• Installation: Install parts ordered for customers promptly and in accordance with company policies.
• Service Promotion: Promote and recommend additional services provided by Jaguar Coffee to customers when appropriate.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, including work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
• Safety Practices: Follow safe work practices and adhere to accident prevention procedures.
• Vehicle & Inventory Maintenance: Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory.
• Productivity Standards: Maintain productivity levels as per company standards.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 6 months of technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Maintenance
  • HVAC
  • Commercial Kitchen Equipment
  • Commercial Coffee Equipment
  • Refrigeration
• HVAC/Technical school experience is also applicable.
