Purpose: The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations, profitability, and culture of their store. Serving as the final point of authority for daily decisions, the Store Manager provides leadership, coaching, and accountability to the entire team to ensure our values, product, and service are upheld at all times. The Store Manager is the primary point of contact for Team Players, vendors, and customers, makes standard managerial decisions without prior approval from upper management, and is fully accountable for the store's results.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position directly oversees all store Team Players, including Shift Leads and Baristas, with authority to hire, coach, discipline, and terminate in accordance with company policy.
Budgetary Responsibility: This position is accountable for store labor cost, inventory and waste, and cash handling, and manages daily operations to meet the sales and labor targets set by the Regional Director and/or Regional Manager.
Work Environment: This job operates in a fast paced, quick service coffee store environment. This role routinely uses espresso machines, blenders, brewing equipment, the TouchPoint point of sale system, cash drawers, and cleaning supplies, and involves regular exposure to hot liquids, steam, and background music. This role also uses a computer or mobile device for scheduling, ordering, and reporting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt Team Player is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Work days and hours vary based on store needs and may include early mornings starting as early as 5:00 a.m., late nights until 11:30 p.m., weekends, and holidays. This position must be reachable by phone to promptly address store needs and may perform work outside the store, such as writing schedules or picking up product. Time off requests are communicated to the Regional Manager or Regional Director following company procedure.
Travel: Minimal local travel is expected for this position, including trips between store locations for product and supplies. Overnight travel is not expected.
