COLD STORAGE SANITATION CLEANER

 Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Interior Cleaner to join our team. You are responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the facility. This includes designated areas in the warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and office areas of the facility. Work within safety guidelines and under the guidance of the maintenance supervisors. You will have a designated pallet jack and cleaning cart in order to complete your duties as required.

What you’ll do:

- Pull pallets out and clean any debris found underneath.

- Detailed cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas according to your assigned schedule.

- Clear and consistent communication with your supervisor regarding facilities maintenance problems.

- Ability to effectively utilize all janitorial equipment and maintain the expected janitorial supply in your assigned cart.

- Clean and dust cases and beams as directed.

- Sweep the warehouse aisles and remove any debris (empty cartons or plastic) out of the way or the aisles.

- Make sure that your designated area is dusted, cleaned, and re-stocked if necessary.

- Responsible for following all safety guidelines and procedures.

Who you are:

- Practical experience as a custodian

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. 

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and 20-30 lbs. for approximately 75% of shift.

- Ability to go up and down stairs if necessary.

- Restocking at the end and during the shift.

- While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will have exposure to extreme cold and noise.

- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Preferred experience

- Former Janitorial experience preferred.
