Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 24 Months

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Interface with customers and stakeholders, including the Executive Chamber

 Create diagrams of methodologies, processes and logical flow

 Manage tasks using a PM tool in an agile, face-paced environment; preferably using Leankit

 Write ColdFusion code, using Model, View, Controller (MVC) framework

 Make improvements to core MVC framework functionality

 Write JavaScript/jQuery code to create complex, Asynchronous Java Script and XML (AJAX) User Interfaces

 Style pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

 Provide assistance to other developers, pair programming where needed

 Write SQL queries

 Interface with database administrators

 Create and modify graphics - new icons, logos, etc.

 Develop APIs for use by other developers from web services, mobile app dev

 Troubleshoot bugs and QA testing

 Provide training on HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS3, and other new technologies

 Troubleshoot and manage crises that arise

 Organize and participate in meetings with customers

 Document meeting outcomes and translate these into development tasks and deliverables

 Manage expectations vs. technology capabilities & team's development capacity

84 months of documented experience developing applications with ColdFusion, with at least 24 months of ColdFusion 9 experience.

84 months of documented experience doing business analysis; meeting with customers, determining their business needs and the best solution for them.

84 Months of documented experience programming with JavaScript.

60 Months of documentedexperience with SQL Server and integration with ColdFusion applications

24 Months of documentedexperience integrating LDAP for authentication and/or user data within ColdFusion applications either directly or via the SiteMinder identity and access management product

12+ Months experience using a modern software IDE such as Eclipse to edit code and software versioning with SVN and/or GIT

36+ months demonstrable experience designing and architecting software applications using theMVC design pattern

24+ months demonstrable experience employing HTML5 and/or CSS3 features in your application development efforts

36 + months of solid experience programming client side functionality using jQuery and AJAX.

60 + months documented experience designing and developing web user interfaces (UI)

24+ months of demonstrated experience incorporating web accessible techniques in your web front-end development efforts that adhere to 508 compliancy

12 months hands on experience designing, developing and testing web applications written in PHP

Associates  Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
