Combination Technician

Job Description: 

Install, maintain, and repair internet services (fiber to the home, fixed wireless, and cable modem) in the Nephi - Santaquin, Utah area.  

Must live in the Nephi - Santaquin, Utah area to better respond to troubles and emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Run new cabling into new or existing buildings


• Repair and maintain plant infrastructure


• Test and troubleshoot cable 


• Will be required to be on-call some weeks


• Involves lifting and climbing ladders


• Frequent interactions with customers


• Perform Blue Stakes locates


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• An Associate/Bachelor's Degree in an electronics related field is preferred but not required


• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills


• Comfortable in working indoors or outdoors


• Be able to do work with minimum supervision


• Have technical skills and knowledge of the telecommunications industry and installation


• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
