New York Bus Sales the largest authorized Blue Bird School Bus dealership in New York State currently has an immediate opening for a Commercial Bus Sales Representative in our Connecticut location.

JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Commercial Bus Salesperson is to expand the market penetration of all New York Bus Sales product lines in non-school applications.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Solicit colleges and universities, county and local transit agencies, hotels/motels, retirement estates, and other commercial bus operations.
· Actively reach out to current accounts & potential clients in person or by phone or email.
· Consult with the Director of Sales and Sales Manager to device pricing strategies based on market conditions.
· Demonstrate products directly to customers at their locations.
· Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop brand loyalty.
· Build customer database in CRM with accounts and contact information.
· Participate in all appropriate sales and product training as directed by the Director of Sales.
· Attend all necessary trade shows and events to our market share.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bus, specialty vehicle or commercial truck sales environment.
·Must have previous experience as an outside salesperson.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Ability to drive a vehicle throughout territory on a flexible schedule as needed for company-related business such as to/from other locations, seminars, conferences, and medical facilities.
·Proof of liability and property damage insurance on any personal vehicle used is required.
·Possess valid NYS Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or have the ability to obtain one within 12 months of employment.
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
·Lift up to 50 lbs when assisting in show set up or in support of customers need.
