Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Commercial Driver. This position will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, tools, and other loads between our warehouse, job sites, vendors, and other locations while also supporting daily warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), have a strong safety mindset, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and construction environment. The position will involve loading and unloading materials, and operating company vehicles and equipment.

The candidate must be able to work independently, follow directions, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, tools, and other loads between the warehouse, job sites, vendors, and other locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and trailers.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, unloading, and organizing incoming materials and equipment.
• Assist with loading trucks and trailers for daily field operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse or material-handling equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with routine maintenance and organization of company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure materials and equipment are properly secured and protected during transportation.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Complete delivery, receiving, vehicle, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist field personnel with material and equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, field personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate, if required for the applicable CDL operation.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• 1–3 years of commercial driving, warehouse, logistics, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Experience safely operating trucks with trailers and transporting equipment or materials preferred.
• Knowledge of proper loading, unloading, and cargo securement procedures.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally heavier materials with appropriate assistance or equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work in a warehouse, yard, and outdoor environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel between the warehouse, job sites, vendors, and other company locations as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required by business needs.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to maintain a professional work environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour  Depending on Experience
