Commercial Estimator Plumbing/Piping

Commercial Estimator Plumbing/Piping position in Fullerton, CA

We are a growing mechanical contractor in CA currently hiring additional top-notch jr- and mid-level estimators with 1 to 8 years of plumbing/piping estimating experience.  Prior commercial mechanical (plumbing/piping) estimating experience highly preferred, with working knowledge of on-screen take-off software.

Responsibilities for the Commercial Estimator Plumbing/Piping 

• Gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors


• Build accurate estimates for labor, materials and equipment


• Review and identify potential errors in Estimates to improve accuracy


• Communicate with other Estimators and departments to solidify final quotes


• Visit with General Contractors and Owners to review final quotes

Requirements for the Commercial Estimator Plumbing/Piping 

• 1+ years of experience


• Estimating experience (plumbing and piping systems for commercial buildings)

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar


• Software experience: BlueBeam, MS Project, MS Excel


• Estimating Software experience: Quickpen, Trimble, Viewpoint, Accubid, Maxwell, or other On-screen takeoff software.
