Commercial Insurance Specialist

Swarts, Manning & Associates, with locations in Nevada, California, and Utah, is seeking applicants for Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Job Description:

Manage customer needs for a well-established independent insurance agency by performing the following tasks:

• 
  Assist account manager in providing high quality customer support.


• 
  Files client activities accurately and in a timely manner into agency management system.


• 
  Provides quoting support to account managers.


• 
  Generates and distributes insurance certificates to clients.


• 
  Files policies with state tax agency.


• 
  Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients.


• 
  Proofreads records, applications, and proposals.


• 
  Maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents.


• 
  Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• 
  Holds appropriate P&C license. Professional designations a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, CISR etc.


• 
  Insurance experience a plus.

  Must be highly proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience using customer or contact relationship management software strongly preferred, knowledge of AMS 360 is ideal.

  Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team-oriented self-starter in a high visibility client environment.
