Commercial Real Estate Analyst

Townhouse Partners, headquartered in New York City, is looking for a financial analyst to join our team. We guarantee a fast-paced and challenging environment where the successful candidate will learn the ins and outs of commercial real estate finance. You will become part of a group with the ultimate responsibility of managing multiple client relationships. The position will require some travel and long hours.

Main Responsibilities:

• Underwriting commercial real estate transactions and prepare market analysis reports.


• Perform complicated financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel.


• Review and analyze legal documents and third party reports as part of the due diligence process.


• Review historical CMBS transactions and update market assumptions.


• Prepare and maintain financial models in Argus.


• Interact with clients and vendors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent quantitative, organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills.


• Strong computer skills with an advanced working knowledge of Excel, experience with VBA and Argus preferred.


• Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills.


• Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• 0-3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry.


• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting preferred; however, all disciplines will be considered.
