Commercial Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to service Rooftop HVAC units’, air handling equipment, hot water boilers, some chiller experience a plus, gas fired appliances, DX condensing units, pumps and variable frequency drives.

• 
  Clean and perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment.
• 
  Contact the vender as needed to properly order parts.
• Process invoicing through using a Droid tablet to email to AR to process the billing.
  
• Assists in locating and diagnosing problems, assessing extent of repairs and describing solutions and associated costs to the customer/client.
• Provides a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood.
  
• Proactively look for worn parts and replace in order to avoid emergency calls.
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  5 plus years in the commercial HVAC industry with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance experience required.
  • Experience in split systems, rooftops, gas fired equipment, water source heat pumps, and boilers.
• 
  Electrical trouble shooting skills a must. Experience in cooling towers, chillers and building automation is a plus.
  
• Able to work on “A” frame ladders and climb extension ladders.
• 
  Driver’s license required.
  • Willing to be “On call” rotation.
• 
  Able to work alone and work well with others.
• 
  EPA 608 certified required.
  
• Excellent customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to customers.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
